Description Full body depiction. The design was heavily based off of Wayne D. Barlowe's designs for his Expedition book, including the Eosapien and, my most obvious influence, the Emperor Sea Strider. I wanted to go for a strange beast that, whilst staying obviously humanoid, did not just look like an oversized Viking warrior, so I incorporated a lack of eyes or a mouth (though I did consider using an Eosapien-like feeding appendage. I just couldn't make it fit), as well as a mixture of soft skin and thick 'shell'. The Eosapien influence came in the hands, which are not easily seen here (sorry), with the alternating finger-claw-finger arrangement.

In comparison to the little, let's say 2m, person at the bottom, the Eclipse Giant measures up to roughly 30m tall. This is smaller than I expected, as I designed the creature to be tall enough to 'blot out the sun', hence the name.

I could find pretty much nothing in terms of information on the Eclipse Giant, which is lucky for me, as it gives me a lot of leeway design-wise. I may refine or redo this drawing in the future, who knows?
