Description
Horseshoe Pond - Cuyahoga Valley National ParkOne of the trees turning for the autumn season, it stood out against the rest of the backdrop that is hanging on before showing their fall colors. I believe this is just a maple tree and not one of the Cleveland Pears that abound within Ohio.
This was taken with a circular polarizer to make the sky stand out a little more against the clouds.

It's like that all over here for us, but especially there--the pond is ringed by oaks, maples that are starting to turn or have turned, and then a lot of evergreens which gives that beautiful contrast.

There are some areas that are and others that aren't, but another couple of weeks and I think everything will look like it's on fire, and that's when I'll be there with my camera!

I've seen a few yellow colored trees, but not many yet. October is my favorite month because of the trees and the beautiful colors of the trees.
