Description
One of many designs that came to be because of a pun, and a very old one at that. The older sprite was one of my first, from the 29th of July, and the recent one is - well, from right now. The basic concept added to the idea was "illusion snake": the original version of species emitted a sort of psychedelic mist that paralyzed its prey, while this new one is a more grounded execution. It imitates the water starter's final stage and uses its psychic powers to support the illusion and create an overwhelming sense of dread that makes prey and foe alike freeze in place.
