He's relieved that the rod presents no health risks to the humans, but is still concerned that there is something killing the monsters that he still can't identify. But after such an exciting day, what better way to unwind than to go mini golfing with your friends?

Thanks. I'm very glad you enjoyed the story. I really enjoy the character, and I had a blast using him for this story, and knowing that you approve the characterization just makes it much better.
Hopefully Goyle and Happy can team up again some day. I really like the two of them together. Stretchy meets Stoic is a very nice pairing, I think.

If that ever gets made into a comic, I don't think I'd be working on it. My next project is the November challenge. I hope I can get it done in time.

(I suspect very few people know that Goyle actually has a very small stub of a tail. It's a very rare sight, as most back-side images are obscured by his wings, but it has shown up in a couple of panels.)
And, thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully, at some point, we can get Goyle and Sam into a story together. I feel like they have a few things in common, other than the tail thing.

I'm almost certain that we can pull that off at some point in the foreseeable future. Β Both of them have a researching streak (though she's far less professional about her studies than he is, and far more prone to risk taking and slightly more archaic methods of inquiry), so there's definitely room in that category, along with a variety of other topics. Β
They both certainly have daddy issues, as we well know. Β ^_^
