Description

A WIP of the control panel for the device that the Twili use to send Ildia to various Realms in my TLoZ fanfic, "The Realm Walker".  Part of the Portal Room that I'm also working on, this is possibly the most important part of the room, other than the portal machine itself of course.  This machine allows for the entry of precise coordinates to open a portal to leave the Twilight Realm for another Realm.  This is done through the 36 symbols on the key pad.  After seven symbols that correspond to a specific Realm are pressed, the activation crystal is pressed and the portal machine activates and generates a portal to that realm.  Coordinates for different Realms are found through some magical means I've yet to specify, the"screen" will light up with the symbols pressed as well as basic information regarding the status of whatever Realm is on the other side of the portal (i.e. is it safe to walk through).

This may sound a bit like the Stargate franchise to anyone who happens to know.  Was this intentional?  Yes, very much yes.  Complete with part of the portal machine spinning, cause spinning is so much cooler than not spinning.  I do plan on giving a better look at the symbols on the inside of the keypad crystals later.  The crystals all basically levitate before being pressed down and the symbols inside them glow brighter when pressed down.  The markings on the activation crystal are accidental, I left them to jazz it up while I figure how to make it more interesting than just a disk.

Unlike the "Twili Desktop", this device and the portal machine itself are powered by a central power source rather than a removable power crystal.
