I just don't understand it, why do I try?
All life is, is a never ending lie.
Vicious circles we all go through,
Just never quite knowing what t odo.
"You're not my type, I'm sorry but it's true,"
Or, "You're just so good and sweet, I don't wanna hurt you."
But best of all, "We're such great friends,
I never want that friendship to end."
All of my life, I've been nothing but a "friend",
I need to wear a sign saying, "Emotional Tampon to the End."
All of my life I wanted to be more,
But then it happens and I wonder what I'm good for.
To die miserable and alone, that's my curse,
I always wonder just how it could get worse.
And then I remember, after I die I'll be reborn,
Reincarnation is forever, I have eternity to be torn.
I always remember in the end that love is a lie,
And I always ask myself, "Why do I try?"
