Who doesn't love a fuzzy, plucky, cursing kitten? Ray has no need for an excess of friends, but once they've spotted someone who fits the bill the "please notice how great I am" switch gets flipped. They can certainly make for pleasant company, if they want to be.

Those who become close friends with Ray will soon realize how doting this kid really is. They may not outwardly admit it, but their adoration tends to come through in various ways. They're likely to defend those they care for ruthlessly, may offer whatever lavish gifts they can get their grubby little paws on, and even skip out on things they would typically enjoy just to keep a good pal company.

One way or another, Ray is probably going to get their way. Once they've determined that something is going to happen, they'll do everything in their power to ensure that it does. They can be a bit of a bully at times, physically or verbally, in order to get a point across. They don't like being dominated, especially not by strangers, and they sure aren't gonna go down without a fight.

Ray is subject to what might be considered unpredictable changes of mood and mind. Mostly, they're willing to betray their loyalties in favor of a better offer. Be careful about accepting promises from Ray, they will only come through if they're feeling it. In the same vein, they might drop an argument quite suddenly and become perfectly amiable if they lose interest. They like being included in things, so there's no point in holding a grudge if it means staying away from all the fun. Or they may become broody if it's clear that they're not going to get their way.

Pretty typical for a kitten, unless they've got a good reason not to, they'll probably believe just about anything. They may also accept faulty logic, and then try to defy it if it doesn't fit in with how they want things to be. For example, if told that doing something will bring about a certain result, they may do the thing anyway, but in such a way that ensures that whoever told them will also receive the same consequences.

Having parents who are willing to let their kits get away with almost anything has contributed to Ray's sense of pride. They aren't actually all that outwardly arrogant, but they have an unchallenged sense of self-worth that makes them less likely to back down, but also quicker to recover.

  There are few things more wonderful to Ray than a bit of good 'ol defiance. They delight in finding clever ways to get around the rules and to frustrate anyone who gets in their way.
