Description A hug between father and daughter.
Lisha (my oc the Devil's daughter)

This actually happens in her first appearance.

A Makuta Came Down to InkwellPart 2 Natas silently stood between the furry Karzahni and his righthand man. Not bothering to resist anything from them. He was curious about were he was heading as the elevator descended taking them down to the lower levels of Karzahni. The dark copper bat-like Makuta had been in this realm for less than two hours and he was already making allies. He still needed the basics. Hopefully he can obtain one kind of shelter from these beings along, with a way to start a new life far from Teridax’s prying eyes. When the elevator stopped they exited, Natas started to take in his new surroundings a big fiery cavern similar to what he saw outside. Marble columns supported the ceiling, a big red rug covered the hard stone flooring. He could see across from the elevator was a fancy looking throne, compared to Teridax’s throne on Destral. “Hi Daddy!” came a female voice of a young woman breaking the solemn silence surprising the trio.A lovely petite female humanoid toon figure came out from behind one of the nearby columns, ran up and hugged furry demon. Her head reached up to his elbows. The Devil embraced his daughter with a half smile. Her skin was red like a fire Toa’s armor along with the short horns on her head, along with a long narrow tail with a tip at the end, she had shoulder length black hair that matched her short (flapper style ) dress, fancy gloves, and shoes. She then noticed Natas with her curious yellow/red eyes.“Oh? Who do we have here?” She asked with a hint of flirting in her voice.”Uncle Dice is he a new employee?” “Lisha! I told you to wear a longer skirt!” The Devil growled like an overprotective father not wanting his daughter to wear revealing clothes. “But those are at the cleaners daddy, besides you had designed the lady uniforms to be short in the first place.” Lisha reasoned calmly while taking a step back. Her eyes were locked on Natas, a cheerful smile on her face. “Lisha don’t you have anything better to do?” The Devil demanded not wanting her around the area, more accurately not wanting her to be interested in their visitor. “Ah, daddy can’t I look at the handsome bat? Need I remind you that I’m not a little girl anymore. “She retorted pulling off a cute face. “I honestly don’t mind if she tags along as a spectator Karzahni.” Natas spoke up surprising all three of them.None of them bother asking why he was okay with the demoness being around. “So Natas where would you like to show us your abilities?” King Dice asked getting them back on track. “Mainly inside a combat training room, an arena or anything related to training soldiers.” The Makuta answered.” Or whatever you got around here.” The Devil did not argue with him. Snapping his fingers he summoned a room nearby that had several training dummies made of what appeared to some kind of strange wood, metal, and other things. Along with some sturdy targets attached to ropes from the ceiling. “How is that for combat training Natas?” The demon asked eager to see some action. Natas stepped inside the recently constructed room with curiosity and caution. He examined the area for any defects. This was unexpected he never thought that magic like this even existed, the fact this furry Karzahni was able to do this from thin air. “Impressive Karzahni, most impressive, craftsmanship is something that you are not known for in my world.” The Makuta remarked while inspecting one of the dummies. “Now why don’t you now show us what you can do?” King Dice suggested. “Of course, but first you all must keep your distance from me! Unless you wish to get hurt.” After that statement the Makuta pulled out a dark gunmetal grey trident off his back and began his demonstration. The Makuta first launched his trident striking the farthest dummy right in the bullseye at the back of the room! The weapon then flew back to its master like magic! He then shot blueish colored chain lightning out of his weapon, shocking multiple targets for a few seconds. He somehow teleported to a nearby dummy without using a plot hole or a puff of smoke. He fired two beams from his crimson eyes scorching its torso! The last dummy suddenly moved on its own! With terror in its eyes, it tried desperately trying to flee from the Makuta! But Natas stretched out his claw like hand, a huge shadow hand came out grabbing at his fleeing target! The living training dummy only managed to hop a couple feet before the shadow hand grabbed it. The poor being let out a screech as it was being effortless pulled back to its assailant, while being flung around like a rag doll! Lisha had hearts in her eyes as she watched this newcomer. He was way more interesting than any of her Father’s lackeys, former debtors, or any a demonic monsters that called the lower circles of Inkwell Hell home. This Makuta so unique, so powerful, and handsome. King Dice and Devil on the other hand were stunned as they intently watched Natas destroy the all training equipment with his various abilities. Nothing in Inkwell Hell, let alone the isles were capable of feats like THAT!! Unless the Devil gave it to them….For a price of their souls. Once Natas had disintegrated the last training dummy into a pile of dust with cartoon eyes by firing a strange red beam out of trident! He then turned back to face the trio, with a half-smile. It felt good to use his powers from time to time.“Are you not entertained?” He asked wondering if he had made a good impression on his part. After several stunned minutes of silence King Dice finally broke it asking in astonishment with his mustache straight up. "Are all Makuta capable of doing that stuff!?” “Yes, although some prefer specializing in certain abilities over others. Making Kraata is another thing we can all do…’” Natas answered, he noticed by the look on their faces. They had never heard of a Kraata before. “I suppose, that you want to see those? But I already know that I should not make those anytime soon. Besides I would need to store Kraata in jars. I also use them to create Rahkshi, but those are minions of a last resort.” Everyone was a silent taking in the damage that this robotic being was capable of the Devil sported his usual toothy grin, rubbing his hands together already knowing the Makuta was a perfect new ally. “Can you somehow show us a Rahkshi?” Lisha asked curiously like a child wanting know more of a story. “Perhaps, I can…”Natas muttered with a quick wave of a his claw. A figured suddenly appeared in front of the casino manager, the demon, and demoness. The figure was around nine feet tall covered in red armored, creepy spines coming out of its back, holding a deadly looking staff in both of its hands. It glanced at the trio letting a shriek that almost made a banshee sound pleasant. The thing inside of its mouth looked like a hideous slug thing! (Tuurahk) “The being you see before you is Tuurahk the Rahkshi of Fear. One of 42 Rahkshi, he is able to strike fear into a foe. The kind of fear that paralyzes a victim before they die. “ The Makuta explained calmly. “Also this an illusion that I am currently showing you three. Somethings are better being shown than explained.” “You said one of 42? Are all Rahkshi this size?” Lisha asked approaching the illusion. “Yes, and they all carry staves. Their armor colors come in all sorts of varieties. Each color scheme has a different power to him. He is a red Rahkshi.” “He?” King Dice questioned raising an eyebrow. “Yeah, Rahkshi are viewed as ’Sons of Makuta’, by other beings that call my world home. Mainly since the Kraata piloting them is made from myself and my brethren.” The Makuta stopped the explanation as he noticed the bewilderment on all their faces. He then made the illusion disappear. The Devil’s grin went bigger this newcomer could be very useful to him. Curious about the Rahkshi, perhaps these creatures would make a fine addition to the legions of Hell.“Would these Rahkshi make good workers?” The demon asked wondering about their potential. “Not really, they have a really bad habit of destroying things that they should not. Karzahni if I unleashed a trio of Rahkshi after those cups, the results would not be pleasant. You would have no Inkwell to rule over!” The Makuta explained in a firm tone while ending the illusion. Lisha raised an eyebrow, her father went by many names but that was a new one! King Dice’s eyes turned green as he glanced curiously at Natas. The green eyes were given to him by the Devil when he became the casino manager. They allowed him to look into peoples souls made things easier and more interesting to set them up for his boss. There was one occasion when King Dice looked at the Devil with those eyes…All what he saw was his boss looking back at him! But when the Devil’s righthand man looked at the Makuta, he did not see a soul. Normally souls look like hearts, but instead of a soul, all what he could see was a weird green mist. What was this green mist? How come it was in the Makuta? What even was that stuff? “Uncle Dice is Natas a new employee?” Lisha asked again snapping her honorary uncle out of his trance. “Yes!” The Devil boomed answering on his righthand’s behalf. “Yeah, besides you need a job don’t you Makuta?” King Dice added with a look of pride. “I suppose, but I doubt that I have any skillset you desire for casino Karzahni.” Natas retorted with a shrug. “There is so much that I want to learn about this world. Do you have some archives or anything that could offer me some information?” There were no casinos on Destral, let alone anywhere in the Matoran Universe. He never was interested in gambling. Although Necro did teach him and several others a few card games when he had smuggled playing cards there. “We can find some job for you to do, you will be staying here at the casino with the other employees. There is a library in the city, but it is closed now since it’s after dark.” King Dice stated then whispered so his boss, so quietly no one could hear them. “There are some books around here that can give you information about the casino. “ Lisha explained with a half-smile. “Natas I would like to learn more about your world if you don’t mind?” Before the Makuta could answer her… “That is an excellent idea!” The Devil boomed seeing the opportunity. “I think we should all learn more about your world Natas! Also from what King Dice has told me you have only arrived on Inkwell about an hour or two ago. “ “True,” The bat-like robotic being nod honestly.” I do need a place to stay before I even start making a lab or anything.” “What do you need a lab for?” Lisha questioned raising an eyebrow. “Oh you will all see in the long run, but I personally do not want to set up anything inside the casino let alone what ever you call the lower regions of this place. That could cause you so many problems in the future.” Natas replied firmly. By nature many Makuta are scientists, but he wanted to make sure that any experiments he might do in the distant future would not cause any problems for his allies in the long run. Suddenly a strange black glyph appeared on the wall nearby followed by a dark chuckle that echoed throughout the room! Natas was confused what was so funny? Nobody moved for about a few seconds as a black portal thing appeared walking out was a figure around King Dice’s height. The new arrival wore a jet black business suit, heightened by a simple red tie or a weird diamond shape scarf. Dark red three fingered claw-like hands sharp as daggers. The being’s skin color was similar to Lisha’s own, but the horns swirled out of his head matched his claws. The newcomer’s face reminded the Makuta of a Skakdi’s ugly mug. Except Skakdis do not dress fancy. Also this being lacked the pointy spine, those creatures were known for, but he did have pointy ears. He appeared to have hollow black eyes, but it was clear that he was not blind. “Hello, Devil, King Dice, and Lisha. “The newcomer spoke obviously the source of the laughter from moments ago. “Lord Malak, what brings you here? The big demon meeting is not until June.” The Devil questioned, surprised to see a fellow high ranking demon. “I had some time off for one, “ Malak answered taking a few steps toward them. “Also I had sensed a strange energy coming from somewhere around here. I rarely do leave my realm, but this power is so foreign and mysterious that I could not help my desire to see whatever or whoever it is for myself.” The suit wearing demon then noticed Natas, out of curiosity he approached questioning.”Who are you? And what are you? I have never seen any demonic being like you before.” “My name is Natas and I am a Makuta.” He answered honestly. “Makuta? Are you some kind of foreign demon?” Malak asked. Before giving a straight answer, Natas wanted to know one thing.”That depends on what do you all view as demons? Or your criteria for picking someone to be a demon?” The Makuta’s words caused some silence as his words sank in. During that short time he scanned Malak’s mind briefly enough to see a few things. If he went with this demon all what he would be doing is chasing humans around a maze. The appeal of that concept would get old really quick. But who was that woman in that fancy room? “What are you doing? Scanning my mind?” Malak asked in amusement already knowing the answer. “Yes,” Natas answered honestly. “I did not dig very deep, but I did see some lady in a fancy room with lsome kind of weird looking statue thing more of those weird circle things you came out of.” He pointed at the glyph continuing.”But she along with some human man have been giving you some problems haven’t they?” “Bierce!” Malak spat that one word out as if it was poison. He then explained.” A century ago she offered her soul to me in order to be a movie star. I gave her what she wanted, but when I came to collect. She decided to get cute, she tried to break our contract by using an accursed artifact a powerful ring known as the Riddle of Heaven.” “Don’t we all hate the deal breakers.” The Devil interrupted already walking up to Natas’s side. “At least I didn’t loose to some chinaware!” Malak growled annoyed with the interruption. A handful of imps were nearby overhearing the conversation as they cleaned up the mess the Makuta had made.“Oooohhh that was a burn!” One of them chuckled quietly. The others also snickered quietly and kept watching the events fold out unaware that the one dummy that got turn to dust with cartoon eyes was fully regenerated and hopping out of the area hoping not get beaten up again. The suit wearing demon continued.” Anyway I shattered the rings and took the pieces. However one of the pieces fused with Bierce’s soul and she had used it to seal herself into that annoying little pocket dimension. Now she often sends mortal souls to collect the ring pieces in my realms for her.” “Have any mortals ever succeeded?“ Lisha asked. “Most rarely succeed at even getting the first ring piece since my murder monkeys guarding it often tear them to shreds.” Malak answered turning his attention toward the demoness.” Those that do get the first piece are still often killed by my other loyal minions. I do not understand how this one mere mortal had managed to get over half of the ring pieces.” “It only takes a handful of Toa to screw up things in my world.” Natas spoke understandingly. Everyone glanced at him, by the look on their faces. They have never heard of a Toa before. “What are these Toa you speak of?” King Dice questioned on behalf of everyone there. “Toa are warriors and elemental heroes in my world. If I had a widget for every time a team or a handful of Toa stopped all kinds of evil plans and schemes from my fellow Makuta, and Dark Hunters. In your terms I would have enough widgets to retire.” The Makuta explained in a casual matter. Widgets? King Dice then remembered the small gears that Natas tried to pay for the Craps game earlier. So that is what they use for currency in his world. That made a lot more sense now. The casino manager did not bring it up, he could just show his boss later. After all he was curious about where this was going. “As to answer your question Malak.” Natas continued.” There was a time eons ago that the Brotherhood I was part of served the Great Spirit Mata Nui under our original leader Miserix. Long story short Teridax overthrew our old leader, had us imprison him somewhere, and made the Brotherhood evil.” “So are these Great Spirits gods?” The Devil questioned now standing at an arm’s length from the Makuta. “Can a ‘god’ be put to sleep? Because Teridax cast either some spell over Mata Nui or maybe he unleashed a some kind of unknown virus? Either method made Mata Nui fall into a deep slumber. And not the kind that would take a true love’s kiss to wake up. I honestly don’t know all the details, but it is a lot more complex series of events at the right time and at right place to do it.” Natas answered with a slight shrug. “However one of my fellow Makuta Chaos.” “Whose that?” Lisha asked standing close enough to the Makuta to block Malak. “Makuta Chaos is the leader of the Dark Alliance. He decided to form the group after he had discovered some disturbing details about Teridax’s plan. “ Natas paused for a moment to make sure they were still listening.”I also saw part of the plan involved him wiping out the Brotherhood entirely committing genocide against his own kind! So that no other Makuta could stand against him!“ “That is messed up!” King Dice exclaimed on behalf of everyone there. They all agreed with that statement. “Indeed so Chaos came up with a plan of his own. To send us to other worlds and realms. In order persevere the Makuta. He had used his Kanohi Olmak to send me here, but he also gave me this.” Natas pulled out a black prism shaped stone no bigger than a human fist out of his armor. “An Olmak Stone it has similar properties to the Kanohi mask it is named after, which allows the user to open portals to other dimensions, worlds, and realms. However it might take time to charge up.” After that explanation everyone was silent for a couple minutes as his words sunk in. Natas slipped the Olmak stone back into his armor. Right after that he noticed Malak and the Devil were glaring at each other then at him and back again. As if they both desired him as an ally. “Sorry Malak, but I already got employment here.” The bat-like Makuta declared firmly, even though he did not take the offer yet. “Any job here at the casino would honestly be more appealing to me than chasing humans around a maze, because to me that would get really boring really quick like watching a couple a my fellow Makuta argue about the best ways to make Rahi. No offense.” “None taken, but just in case you wish to contact me sometime.” Malak remarked in a respectful tone as he pulled a card out of his suit pocket and handed to the Makuta.” Here is my card.” Natas examined it noticing on the picture on the front it was the same as the circle thing on the wall behind the suiting wearing demon. On the back was instructions on how to summon him. “Thank you Malak, I can always give this to one of my brothers. It could also serve as a good book mark.” The Makuta politely said with a half-smile slipping the card into his armor. “It was nice meeting Natas.” Malak declared then looked toward the Devil. “See you around sometime Old Scratch, Lisha, and King Dice. I must be heading back to my realm. Hopefully those Reaper Nurses managed to stop that mortal from collecting the next ring piece.”The suit wearing demon then did a quick wave good-bye, and left through same the portal he had entered from earlier. Once Malak was gone both the portal and that weird glyph thing disappeared leaving no trace of it being there in the first place. “Old Scratch?” Natas muttered confusion. “He was referring to me, “ the Devil explained no doubt overhearing him. “I have been called numerous things over the years including Old Scratch, Mr. S., and the Big D.” By now the imps had finished cleaning the training room and left without saying a word. “Say before we head back upstairs Natas, would you mind showing us what these Toa look like?” King Dice asked out of curiosity. Instead of responding verbally the Makuta conjured up an illusion.A seven and half foot tall humanoid robotic figure appeared. He wore gold, red, and black armor. Armed with two big swords that shot fire. He combined the two swords into a shield, that he also used as a board.(Toa Lhikan) Natas began to explain.“This was Toa Lhikan, a legendary Toa of fire that protected the great city of Metru Nui for ages. With his team. I have ran into him on a few occasions. I actually was once stationed in that city by my fellow Makuta to keep tabs on a war that was going on at the time between the Toa and Dark Hunters….“ “Dah hey boss! Boss!Hey Boss!” came a voice a chubby purple imp entered flying into the room with short wings on his back wearing a set of yellow gloves. Stopping with a rather humorously with face plant in front of the Devil. “WHAT?!” The demon snapped at his minion like a busy teenager not wanting interruptions. “Can’t you see we are in the middle of something?!” “Dah erh…the customers all left the casino about a half hour ago, everybody started cleaning up the place and everybody wants to know about that weird bat robot thing that King Dice brought in earlier.” The minion says. The Devil bonked his underling on the head with his trident in rather comical fashion. “He is right Dad all it is almost midnight.” Lisha muttered glancing at nearby clock on the wall. Natas made the previous Toa illusion disappear and made a new one.A black four-legged spider like creature with big pincers in front materialized behind the chubby demon. “Turn around please Henchman.” The spider-like creature spoke telepathically in King Dice’s voice. “Sure Mister King Dice sir what—-“ Henchman did as he was told and screeched like a frightened Ga-Matoran jumping into his superior’s arms in a hilarious fashion in response to seeing the creature. (Oohnorak) “Sorry I couldn’t resist,” Natas chuckled. He wanted to see how this chubby imp would react to one of the Visorak. Even though it was an illusion, the real reaction was ammusing not only to him. King Dice and Lisha also couldn’t help but laugh a little. Henchman calmed down a bit as his boss set him back down.“Gee Mister King Dice, did you become a spider beetle thing?” He asked then noticed the real King Dice standing nearby with the demoness. “Oh if you are there then who is?” “I am an Oohnorak one of six types of Visorak. I am sometimes used a bartering ram, by the horde. My spinner paralyzes a foe perfect for capturing victims. I have a limited telepathic abilities and I often mimic voices of friends, allies or loved ones to lure prey into a trap.” The creature declared still using King Dice’s voice.”Just be grateful that I am just an illusion and not a real one. Bye!” The illusion then vanished, there was a moment of silence then Henchman noticed the Makuta.“Dah, hey you’re that robot bat that King Dice brought in a few hours ago. “ The round chubby purple yellow glove wearing imp stated with a curious daze. “Yes I am Makuta Natas, and I guess that I am your new coworker.” He said back letting his wings relax. The Devil then summoned a parchment in his hand from out of nowhere, along with a pen. “I need you to sign this Natas.” The demon declared handing the paper to the Makuta.”Tomorrow you will start your first day working as a bouncer. Your job will be to maintain order in the casino. I think that role will suit your skills and abilities quite good.” Natas held the parchment carefully in his claws and scanned it for a few minutes taking in all the details noticing that some of the words were a little two small to read, maybe that was on purpose? The rest of the writing detailed the rules of being an employee at the casino. There was a fancy gold seal stamped on the bottom of it. The furry Karzahni and King Dice already had signatures neatly written on there. He could make out a dotted line with the words ’Sign Here’ next to it. Natas accepted the pen carefully signed the contract and it back to the Devil. The demon grinned at first, but quickly change to a confused stare as he noticed the Makuta’s signature was in a language he could not read. The Devil glanced at the writing in a bewildered daze, he already knew that if it was a fake signature it would have already been cut into his new employee’s arm and the true one would appear on the contract. But he shrugged that off for now. “King Dice, you and Lisha go ahead take Natas up to his room. Tomorrow he will start his first day here.” He ordered. His righthand and daughter nod already walking back to the elevator. Natas began to follow, but stopped as the Devil called out. ”One more thing Natas, I would like you to tell us your story tomorrow. Can you show not only King Dice, Lisha, and myself, but the other employees as well with your illusions?” “I can try my best Karzahni.” Natas answered with a nod then left with King Dice and Lisha. The Devil sat down on his throne for a few minutes and stared at recently signed soul contract with confusion.“Wow, boss I have never seen this language before.” Henchman said honestly also noticing the strange writing. “Neither have I Henchman, but this might be common in that Makuta’s world or wherever he came from.” The demon muttered honestly looking forward to tomorrow....
