Description
I slowly come back to the world of the living. The first thing I realize is my head still throbs and my stomach is crying out for nourishment. When I open my eyes after what seems like forever I see a curved ceiling. I then remember my ''situation''. I quickly stand up. I'm in the same room as I was before I fell asleep.I'm on one half of the room and on the other is a small cart. Huh, I hadn't noticed it before. . . .
I take a step towards the mysterious cart but fall to my knees out of sheer weakness. I start up again and take three steps before I fall to my back. I stare at the ceiling for awhile and I see many arduous patterns. I begin to fall back to unconsciousness when I hear the door open. I am petrified.
"Finally got up did we?! I was generous and let you sleep longer than one hour. After all, I am a kind caring master."
If I had the strength I would be defiant but I didn't. I heard a snap and tilted my head to see him gone. In a second he reappeared in front of me. He leaned down and came into my view without me having to tilt my head.
"We need to work on your listening skills Link, so I decided that we shall do that today. The rules are very simple: if you do not listen to me you will die."
With that joyful speech over he whistles and three Bokoblins come sprinting through the doors. They remain still for a minute until I see Ghirahim nod his head. They head over to the cart and grab a small box. They then come trotting back to their master. Ghirahim then pulls out a small pointy object. I have never seen these before. . . . . .
"Do you know what this is sky child?!"
"No" I say in a weak nervous tone.
"It's a hypodermic needle, used to inject people with whatever. . . . . medicine that patient needs."
I begin struggling but the Bokoblins rush at me. They quickly and swiftly tie my hands behind my back and begin working on my feet but before they can complete the knot I kick one of them in the neck. I see him fly back and evaporate into a puff of purple dust. They other ones go insane. They pull out there knives and raise them about to strike. Before they get a chance to bring them down Ghirahim commands them to stop. The acquiesce to him and begin back on my feet.
After they are convinced that I am securely fastened they go and stand behind their master. I test the bonds strength but to my unliking they are tough. Wow I never knew Bokoblins were so good at tying knots. I snap out of my thought back to the real world. I just then realize that my enemy is squatting directly in front of my face. When did he get there? I try to spit on him but he quickly puts his hand tightly over my mouth completely covering it. Since I can no longer spit on him I try to bit his hand. He moves it out of the way just in time. He whistles and the two remaining Bokoblins come to his side. They quickly tie a piece of cloth around my mouth.
Ghirahim kicks my side and I unwillingly roll over so I'm lying on my stomach Out of the corner of my eye I see him gab a knife. I quickly try to escape my bonds. He gently places his hand on the back of my head.
"Shh Link, it's OK. I'm not going to cut you."
For some strange reason I trust him. I trust that he wont impale me with the dagger. I still. He grabs my right arm and carefully cuts the sleeve off. My right arm is now bare up to my shoulder.
"Now Link this will just feel like a pinch and then it will be over. But I will warn you; the more you move or stiffen your muscle the more it will hurt. Do we understand?"
I slightly nod my head in agreement. He brings his hand to a little below my shoulder. I feel a strange sensation in my upper arm muscle and I flinch. It feels like something is inside my arm, moving. For just an instant I am scared. A few seconds after the strange sensation dims. I can feel a tiny amount of blood streaming down my arm. I think that Ghirahim will lick it off but instead he wipes it away with some cloth. I hear him snap his fingers. The ropes that once held me still have vanished. I sit up.
"What did you do to me?!" I try to sound brave but it comes out more nervous.
"Oh relax. Remember how I said we were going to work on your listening skills? Well I injected you with a poison. In 7 minutes you will be dead."
I gasp.
"There is an antidote. The only thing you have to do to get it is say~ I am glad I have such a kind and caring master. I love you Lord Ghirahim."
"Are you mental?!" I screech at the top of my lungs. "I would NEVER say that! Especially to you! First off you torture me, you poison me TWICE! Why on earth would I say a big fat lie? You probably were never taught this but lying is WAY worse than not listening."
His jaw drops open.
"You might want to say it because if you don't you will die. This is your last chance link say it or die."
"No" This time I say it in a cool confident voice.
"Fine have it your way, but just so you know before your untimely demise you will go through excruciating pain. Shortly after that your muscles will convulse and fail. Only then will you pass away from heart failure."
After that ever so happy speech he snaps and leaves me to my thoughts. I'm still in the corner of the room. The room is once again empty except for. . . . . WAIT!!!!
On the opposite side of the room there is a small glass container similar to mine. I begin my crawl over. I hear something behind me and turn around there is a giant Moldorm. It comes charging at me and I wait for the invertible pain, but there is nothing. I look forward and I see the ugly beast.
"It must be a hallucination." I tell myself quietly.
I continue over to the antidote. I'm getting weak and my muscles are fading. The poison is draining my energy. I can also feel myself fading to the world of the dead. I am so close yet so far. Can I make it in time? I am so close that the antidote is within my grasp. I reach out and my fingers scrape the bottle. They slowly wrap around it and pull it in. My vision is mostly black. I uncork the bottle and quickly gulp it down. My last thought before fainting is "That tasted terrible"
