I wake up in a dim room on the cold floor. The door looks reinforced. Only a moron wouldn't. The only furniture in the room is a large mirror on the wall. I know they're watching me. She's watching me.

Anger fills me and sparks start to fly. I take my anger out on the door and a bolt of electricity rams into the door. Normally it would disintegrate but as I suspected it's reinforced. I punch and kick the door but still nothing. I sigh in defeat.

How could they capture such a powerful conduit as myself? How could I be caught so off guard. Anger fills me again. I glare into the mirror. I feel their eyes lock onto mine. And I hate it. I fire a lighting bolt towards the mirror which merely makes a small dent.

They're more prepared than I would have thought. They knew I would be angry and that I'd try to escape. They knew I'd need to recharge and made sure to not let me. I doubted her intelligence and it's come back to bite me in the ass.

The door creaks open and she walks in. Or should I say it walks in. Moya. She promised me escape from the quarantine if I found her husband John and the Ray Sphere. I don't think she would have taken no for an answer. At first it started out with small tasks but she quickly started abusing her power making me do unrelated tasks to my goal. I brought the subject up with her but she denied it saying they did have a relation.

She goes on to tell me how by kidnapping me she's protecting me. She sure as hell has a funny way of showing it. I debate trying to fry her but my body is drained of energy from my earlier outbreak. She claims the beast is stronger than me. Stronger than all of us and that the only chance for the world's survival is to keep me safe. She has no idea what she's up against. She leaves the room and slams the door. With nothing else to do I lay down and try to get some sleep. I face away from the mirror.

I wake up to a loud thumping and screams of agony from every direction. I get up and discover that the cell has practically disappeared. The walls have turned to rubble. Beyond where the walls once stood I can see Empire City. At least what used to be Empire City. Buildings have collapsed, rubble falls and crushes innocent people. There are cries of help from every direction. Cries, shouts and I am helpless but to watch.

My body finally realizing what's happening I high tail it out of there and head toward the docks. Before I had been captured I had been contacted by a mysterious Lucy Kuo. She has asked me to accompany her to New Marais. As I near the dock I get my first glimpse of it the beast. It is just as Kessler had shown me. Huge and menacing, Intent on destroying all life. It spots me and drops the building it was crushing in it's hand. Bring It.
