Astrodactyl is the Omnitrix DNA Sample of a Pturbosaurian from the asteroid ring of the planet Terradino.

Appearance: Astrodactyl is a reptilian extraterrestrial that resembles a humanoid pterosaur. He has reddish brown scales with two growths that reveal tendrill like appendages from his arms, while also having dinosaur like legs, a crest with a glowing orb and wings that retract inside his shell. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his left shoulder.

Abilities:
Flight: Thanks to his wings, Astrodactyl can fly in an atmosphere or in the vaccuum of space.
Cosmic Energy Generation: Astrodactyl can generate inner cosmic energy from his body, allowing him to spit cosmic lasers from his mouth or boost through the sky encased in this energy.
Environmental Adaptability: Astrodactyl is comfortable living in different types of atmospheres and in space.
Enhanced Physical Capabilities: Astrodactyl is very fast on the wing and is surprisingly strong for something of his slender frame.
Shockwave Generation: Astrodactyl can cause shockwaves by generating his energy from his wings.

-While in the Classic Continuity, Astrodactyl had a jetpack like structure, this version just has a shell instead.
-This design for Astrodactyl was inspired by several species of Pterosaurs like the Tapejara, Dimorphodon and Pteranodon. Non Pterosaur inspirations came from Ostriches, fish fins and turtle like shells.

-Pturbosaurians are also called "Ptapastare".
-Before Terradino had an Asteroid Ring, Pturbosaurians were merely gliding through the skys and living in the highest peaks. Until cosmic storms hit the high peaks that the species lived in and the Pturbosaurians were forever changed to be capable of traversing the stars without need of starships or protective suits.
