Sakura Mashimi once worked at a zoo before being experimented on by Skeletech. Combining her genes with the DNA of one of their earliest experiments. Project B322, a Tanuki that could stretch and morph itself into different shapes and sizes. Granting her the ability of elasticity and limited malleability (How original). Despite these powers, the experiment also gave her the ability to shift into both her original human self and her beast form, and the ability to generate power energy attacks.

While being a Skeletech experiment, she befriended with three other mutants. That being Project D230, Project E23 and Project E34. As the three mutants escaped from the Skeletech laboratory that they and Sakura were in, she was separated from them, but managed to free herself from Skeletech's clutches. After her escaped, she met the Powers family, the World Wide Agents of Cryptica and even developed a romantic relation with Emma Powers.
