Surge is the Omnitrix DNA Sample of a Xerge. A species that live in Cosmic Storms.

Appearance: Surge is a large purple extraterrestrial that resembles a starfish with only four appendages. At the tips of his appendages he has a singular eye and a mouth glowing with green energy and filled with multiple rows of teeth. The Omnitrix symbol is located on the centre of his back.

Abilities:
Cosmic Rays: Surge can fire devastating cosmic beams from his eyes and his mouth.
Levitation: Surge is capable of lifting his body off the ground.
Space Survivability: Surge is capable of living amongst the stars in the void of outer space.
Enhanced Physical Capabilities: Surge is both stronger and faster than the average combatant.
Regeneration: If damaged, Surge can heal himself in seconds.
Asexual Reproduction: Surge can spawn smaller versions of himself.

Weaknesses: Due to his unusual body shape, Surge has trouble walking.

Trivia:
-Surge is the final alien (So far) to be shown in the entire Ben 10 franchise.
-Despite being introduced in the 2016 Reboot, Surge, alongside Slapback and Shock Rock also exist in the Classic Continuity.
-When revamping Surge, I had several ideas before this version was drawn. One of the original ideas was to have Surge being a cat sized semi crystalline like cell that radiates massive amounts of energy that is encased in a technological box (Square shape, then eventually became X shaped) which would allow him to create hard light constructs like Green Lantern rings or Steven Universe's crystal gems.
-When revamping Surge, I was thinking of making him less about technology and more about pure energy.sta.sh/028o7la9mheo
-This design for Surge takes inspiration from Starro from DC Comics.
-Unlike the official Xerge, the Xerge in this universe live alongside the To'kustars and are more peaceful than the ones we got to see in "Ben 10,010".
