"Don't go around breaking hearts now... or expensive pottery. Someone put some hard work into that pottery."Yes, I know that I'm a day late. Again. I was busy, so I didn't get around to drawing this until today. Sorry about that! I'll try to be on schedule more.
I had two things pop into my mind when I saw Day 20's prompt: Vases, since those are very breakable, and hearts, in reference to the idea of broken hearts. Rather than choose one over the other, I combined both for a more creative piece!
I really wanted to get more detailed with this one. While some of my Inktober pieces are fine, they lack a fair amount of detail. That's something about my art that I need to improve in general, I feel; I'm very hesitant to add little details.
I'm decently happy with this. I think that it could be better - the design is a little odd looking, and that upside down heart in the center just looks out of place - but it looks fine from what I can tell.
