"It's about to get prickly and FUNKY"Well, this took a turn as I drew it. I was originally just going to draw a cactus with a random spiked ball floating above it, but then I thought that the cactus looked like it was in a dancing pose. I decided that it would be silly if I added some sunglasses, then I came up with the idea to use the spike ball as an afro, and before I knew it this design became a thing.
Meet DJ Prickly (that name is not final at all.). He's the pointiest DJ you'll ever see in your life, and he lives to party. ...That's all I really have to say about that.
As you can imagine, I had a great amount of fun with this one. I thought that this piece would be one of the more boring pieces when I started it, but it turned out to be one of the more fun ones! That being said, there is still certainly room for improvement. This is probably still one of my weaker pieces. It looks fine, but it's rather basic for my tastes. I would have added more prickles, but I was worried that it would make the design not read as easily and just look messy. The beard probably wouldn't have been noticeable if I added more prickles, as well.
Any and all constructive criticism is strongly appreciated!
