This one... okay, this one is a stretch. I'll admit that right out of the gate.For those who don't understand, the idea here is that the "jolt" in question is a jolt of inspiration, being represented with a lightbulb being lit up like in old cartoons. I was originally going to make the head of the little dude the main focus and have one of those jagged lines that you see on heart monitors and use that to represent the jolt of inspiration, but I then came up with the idea to put said heart monitor line inside a lightbulb, and then this became what it is now. That way, "jolt" is represented in the form of both inspiration and electricity!
...I told you that this one was a stretch.
Truth be told, I wasn't very enthusiastic with drawing this one. It's not that I didn't want to; I was just rather empathetic. Maybe I needed to cool down after having so much enthusiasm for yesterday's piece, or maybe it was because my day was weird today. Who knows? Whatever the case may be, it shows in this piece, I feel. It's far more simplistic than I'd like it to be, though I'm not sure what details I could have added. That being said, I'm still satisfied with it.
