This chicken has eaten WAY too much bird feed.

So, Day 5. This is possibly the most specific prompt out of the bunch for the prompts in Inktober this year. What's interesting to me is that it's the one that I've seen the least art for so far. I guess people didn't find "chicken" to leave much room for creativity!

I was initially just going to draw a roasted chicken - and I probably could have gotten some practice with texture if I did - but I opted for some fan art for the Nitrome game Bomb Chicken instead, hence the bomb next to the chicken. Bomb Chicken's a neat game and I like it.

Compared to my previous Inktober pieces, this one was... brief. I want to say that drawing that chicken didn't even take me 10 minutes. I was bothered with how quick it was, so I decided to add the bomb - complete with a second ink color - and some very basic shading to both. It's not my proudest piece, but for what it is, it works!

Any constructive criticism is strongly appreciated!

P.S. Seriously, though. Bomb Chicken is a pretty neat game. If you like puzzle platformers and/or unusual gameplay gimmicks that are used very well, take a look at it! It's on PC and the Nintendo Switch right now.
