Description
(Should this be under sky or waterscapes?)I was browsing through my pictures last night, and found this shot, and decided i liked it. It was taken in Groscap. I dont know if this dock is used, i've never seen any one on it, or any boats by it. All i know is that who ever it belongs to doesn't want anyone on it.
This panorama consists of two shots stitched together in photoshop.

Wonderful panorama. I like the clarity. Everything is in focus. The bright reflection on the water provides contrast in an otherwise rather dark photo. Nice job .

I love it!
Why is it that a lot of the docks with nice views are always closed off to the public!? I had a couple of them over here in our area that I really wish I could get in on because they provided some very nice vantage points for some beautiful waterscape shots.
Anyway, here have a

Waterscap.
Its soo pretty, but I sure don't think that that dock is safe, but it makes the picture look soo much nicer.

Nice shot. I think it's a Waterscape indeed, but to make it more obvious you should move the horizon a bit more downwards or upwards instead of keeping it in the middle. Makes it more obvious for everyone.
I like the composition and the snow and ice. It's a beautiful place

well i dont want to cut any of the sky out, and i liked having the snow frame the bottom.... i could experiment a bit..
thanks

Well, it's not really about cutting out afterwards, it's about positioning when taking the shot. You as the photographer should know if it's about the water or the sky. If you don't know, how should we know?
I don't think it needs to be cropped right now, but if you ever go back there you could reconsider (and I'd go for 2/3rds of water, 1/3rd sky
)

yeah, i know about how we can have more of the sky or water..etc.. i think i was focusing more on having the dock in the center when i took it, and the horizon line isn't exactly centered actually.. its close, but its not in the middle. its hard to make it perfect when i was doing this panoramic, first because my camera stiches the shots together itself, and then it messed it up a bit and i had to go back and fix it and crop a bit out unforutunately. but maybe i can see about adding a bit for sky to the shot... would you have more sky if you could?

Well, no, not exactly centered, but it's not at 1 third either. I guess it's alright though, since the bridge is at 1/3rd as well.
Your camera stitches the shots together itself? What kinda camera is that? Never heard they do that itself!
