I thought this was neat. A crescent shaped moon, where the shadowed part was still light enough to see craters.i did not edit the crater section. that is actually what it looked like.. and it is not part of an eclipse either. Cool eh?

yes, i like how it did. fairly clear. i was hoping for more crisp detail on the moon's craters, but oh well, it was already past the regular zoom, so what can you do.

Oh you were using digital zoom in this? That could be why.

im glad more people saw it, it was truly beautiful, and i rarely see it that way. im going to take more pictures of it tonight again

Yeah I saw this last night! My friends and I were walking from the movies to Wendy's and I saw the moon and pointed it out to them... I had never seen the moon this way before...
