Okay, titled simply because that's what this piece did to me....for the first time in making Terraspace...or anything really for that matter...I keep getting that feeling in my stomach when I look @ this one. I dont know if thats a good thing, or a bad thing, but for me it simply means that I am proud of it. Tried some new techniques on this. focused mainly on the planet(s). Used the "Building Up" technique as described in ~Alyn's tutorial, and I think it went really well. Used about 14 stock images from [link] and made them into the planets...modified about a billion times to get to where i liked it, but then i had two versions i liked, so i used both :-D.

As for the city lights, I had some serious issues with those, tried my own method after trying and failing the tutorial methods, and kinda made it up as I went along. Not really happy with how those turned out but I was running out of ideas

The rings I really enjoyed making, I again did those like, a thousand or so times over, but i like how they turned out.

Teh terragen is another view of the map I used for "Peninsular"....I felt like i could get more out of it than I had, so I tried, i also tried a new, random, personal way of blending from sky - space, i dont know how well it worked (but feel free to let me know!).

As for the starsfield...I tried to keep it simple, not to draw away attention, I was going to use the nebula I just released but couldn't fit it in....anyway, here's what came out of all that crap...hope you like it!

Tools: Photoshop CS, Terragen 0.9 (mac)
Time: No idea, stopped counting, it was something of a process
Original Size: 1280 x 2616px, not resized, the 1280 is as wide as the Trial version of Terragen will let me render
More than enough layers, probably around 150, but I have no actual idea...
