My submission for =environaut 's Terragen contest. Done in about 2 days so its not as complete as I'd like it to be, the contest ends in a few hours though, so I'm just gonna take my chances with this100% Terragen, Photoshop for borders/sharpening/sizing, couldn't do anything else as the rules said (though I would have liked to

i like it and i wish u luck, but i have one stupid question... dont people get bored of making same type of concepts.... terragen is turning into a stereotype art, come one people be creative lol all the terragen images i have seen look the same to me

This piece in particular may seem very similar to others recently since the terrain we ALL had to use could not be modified....
The genre as a whole is yes, getting old, but as people like `tigaer and the like experiment with more manipulations they are beginning a new kind of terragen art altogether. Another reason things may be gettin a little dry is that there have been no significant advances in the technology for a long time. When Terragen 2 comes out (see planetside.com) it will be the beginning of an entirely new era of Terragen art.

The rules of the contest say you have to use the Terrain provided, and thats what terragen is for, buddy! making land!
