Description When guitars explode, they need to be fixed. Jackson RR low E machine tuner exploded on me when I was re-stringing the guitar. The guitar is old with crappy machines, and I was using a super heavy gauge string (zakk wylde ghs .060" on the low E) I usually use a .046" on the low E, but I had another pack lying around and I decided to use it. The tuning machine peg weld broke, and the finish on the neck was chipped. What made the situation worse was that I needed the guitar that night. The second pic is the new installed grover tuners that I haggled into my posession. You can notice that the low E string is silver, while the rest are all black. Well that is what you get when you trade parts. Currently there are still 3 jackson tuners on the guitar, 2 black grovers, and 1 heavy duty silver grover.
