WALL OF TEXT WARNING (if you are lazy and do not wish to read said wall of text, turn back and enjoy my pretty app)
About Riley
Riley is an optomistic trainer. Being rather easy to get along with, she does her best to make friends. Riley is full out teenager in behavior. Though she tries to hide it most of the time (especially when she's surrounded by older trainers) Riley is immature, loud and likes sticking her nose into other people's things. Especially with all the older trainers about, Riley can be looked down upon for her childishness. Riley is also extremely clumsy. Often crashing into trainers and that sort of stuff. She doesn't mind it, though.
When it comes to Legendary Pokemon, Riley is a total nerd on the subject. She could tell you all about the Pokemon and the mythology it's related to off the top of her head, despite having never ever seen one. A mere mention of a Legendary Pokemon could have Riley all over you in a matter of seconds. Her personal fave Legendary is Giratina, ruler of the Netherworld.
When it comes to battling, Riley is quite the rookie. This comes with the fact she's been on a mission to become Pokemon Master and defeat all the Gym Leaders since day 1. When it comes to fancy strategies, Riley isn't one for those. She likes focusing on her Pokemon's speed and defenses in order to dodge attacks.
Bio
Riley is the only child of her family. Her parents, Davie and Lola Thompkins, are pokemon researches who work closely with the coal museum. Riley had a pretty normal childhood, doing as most kids her age in Oreburgh did.
On special occasions, Riley's dad would bring her into the Mines in order to better understand what he was working on. On one of these treks, Riley ventured into a tunnel and had an encounter with a massive Onix. Despite it being known by the miners as a very aggressive Pokemon, the Onix took a liking to Riley, who frequently visited it in the tunnel. Riley didn't catch this Onix until she returned to Sinnoh many years later.
Like all aspiring youngins, Riley made her way to Sandgem Town in order to begin her Pokemon journey. She had a tough time choosing between Chimchar and Piplup as her starter Pokemon, so Professor Rowan suggested she stroll around on route 201 a bit in order to influence her choice. While strolling, Riley encountered a wild Stunky, and following her trainer's instinct, attempted to capture it (despite having no battling experience and no Pokeballs). The Stunky fled into the bush, startling a flock of Starly into the field. The Piplup Riley had come with took courage and protected Riley from the oncomming Starly thanks to it's water gun. Upon returning to Profferssor Rowan's lab, Riley decided to begin her Pokemon journey with Piplup, whom she nicknamed Splash.
Riley returned to her hometown of Oreburgh two weeks after she had left out. Alongside Splash and her newly captured Shinx, she quickly barged into the Gym in order to challenge Roark. Unfortunately, things didn't exactly go so well for young Riley. Saying she got Pwned is an understatement. Still willing to settle her score, Riley challenged the Gym again the following day. Again, the battle ended in quick defeat for Riley. Riley challenged Roark 5 times in a row, each failure more catastrophic than the last. Finally, using the last amount of courage she had, she returned to the Pokemon Gym and challenged Roark for the 6th and final time. This time, she actually planned out strategic moves. And hey, she actually earned herself a win.
Riley continued her travels through Sinnoh, earning herself 4 gym badges. Upon travelling through Mt. Coronet, she encountered a most entriguing Pokemon. Living deep within the mountain was a Dragonair, an very rare Pokemon. Riley actually managed to catch the beauty and, learning of the region where it came from, inspired her to travel to Kanto.
Riley traveled throughout Kanto for sometime, gathering more badges, then headed off to Johto for some more travelling. Within the span of 14 months, Riley had earned all 8 of the Johto badges and managed to enter the Silver Conference. During the tournament, Riley managed to get herself to the top 8 before getting pwned, quite literaly.
Following her adventures through Kanto and Johto, Riley returned to Sinnoh in order to finish the League in an effort to enter the Lily of the Valley Conference and battle the Elite Four. Many of her Pokemon evolved during these travels. Riley didn't last as long as she did in the Silver Conference during this tournament, only making it to the second round.
Since the Lily of the Valley tournament, Riley has lain low. Upon hearing of the Battle Frontier: Ohana Islands, she quickly made her way to the tropical paradise. Riley has made it her personal goal to make it through to Round 4, or as she would say.. "ROUND FOUR OR BUST! : D"
Pokemon Info
Splash the Empoleon
Splash was Riley's first Pokemon, given to her by Professor Rowan at the begining of her Pokemon Journey. Despite his large size, Splash is a rather shy Pokemon, often dodging conversations. He is a loyal partner of Riley's and will not hesitate to follow orders in battle.
Keswick the Weavile
Keswick was another Pokemon Riley captured in Johto. He tends to take Pokemon Battles way too seriously. This often leads to him putting full effort into any fight Keswick happens to get his claws into, even a spar battle. This has made the hothead Weavile more difficult to train alongside his Teammates.
Mismaj the Mismagius
Mismaj was one of the first Pokemon Riley encountered. He was seen haunting the Old Chateau, out of curiousity Riley checked the place out and found not an evil spirit, but a jolly little Mismagius. Though Mismaj may seem pretty energenic when he's floatin around doing Mismagius things, but that energy tends to leave rather quickly. Mismaj tends to spend most of his time outside his Pokeball on Riley's head, which I guess is very comfy. I wouldn't know, I'm not a Ghost-Type Pokemon.
Tomo the Dragonair
Tomo was captured deep within Mt Coronet. Dragonair's are rare to comeby, so Riley opted to immediately catch her. Tomo is very level-headed, always ready to except new friends. Sometimes, however, she forgets she's an 11 foot Dragonair when approaching people. Dragonair glomps for the win!
Bailey the Glaceon
Bailey was given to Riley in Cerulean City. This cheeky little Glaceon is known for always being abondant with energy. She is also rather childish compared to Riley's other Pokemon, hence why she isn't used as much as the others. Bailey is also the youngest on Riley's Team.
Zale the Ampharos
Zale was the first Pokemon Riley captured in the Johto Region (when he was a little Mareep), which happened to be ironically right after she beat Falkner and won her Zephyr badge. If Riley was a Pokemon, she'd be something like Zale. He's a happy immature teenager stuck inside and Ampharos' body. Hence why he and Riley get along so well. Zale enjoys using his tail to repel attacks. Don't be getting in the way of his mighty Iron Tail or you may end up halfway across Ohana.

if the glasses mess up the face, it's alright if you take um out. You don't really need glasses to Caramelldance.
As for a dancing mismagius, that would be awesome!
