I can only imagine he might do his shootings right after he gets up in the morning, before having eaten anything. Or perhaps he also empties his colon by taking some medical preparation used prior to colonoscopy. Myself I go through that medical exam every 2 years, I can tell how skinny and soft my belly gets once its completely empty.
