Sky, the Moon Warrior, "riders" style.Art trade with
You know, I really enjoyed doing this piece. I always thought Sky had an aggressive touch to her drawings, but the poses seemed too relaxed with the style. So I really tried to add some "oomph" to this one.
Ever gone snowboarding or skiing during the evening? When the wind kicks up, sometimes the snow looks a little "dusty." I don't know if I got it right. As long as you get the idea.

yer iv only recently got my tablet right amd im getting ust to it, i cant colour in or get nice cevy lines it pisses me of... it seems that you do a good job

The tablet DOES need some getting-used to. But it feels SOOOOO much better than a mouse! I use it instead of a mouse now!

yes i can understand the it is better thet a mouse, but i just wanted to know if there where any tricks to getting a curved line? coz i have no clue, or if the page settings where the problem, my pics arnt smooth. yer im complaning sorry just wondering.

Nah, it's ok! One thing you can do is one of two things; 1. You can use the pen anchor tool. It's essentially drawing line after line, (which is annoying for large curves!) but it gurantees consistent line width. 2. draw the outline in Flash or Illustrator. Flash has an easy curve transformation tool, and Illustrator has a "live Trace" function that works well for those sort of things!

Sorry, Adobe Photoshop CS4. Though it really wasn't that complicated, just a lot of layers for the background.

In all honesty, getting the color right for the background was the hard part. You play around with the blur tool and the layer fill meters and what not, and all sorts of ideas start springing up!
