I've been an artist for years but this is the first thing I've ever posted on DeviantArt.It is my fanart of a wonderful slash fanfiction called WORDS FAIL www.fanfiction.net/s/6592361/1…
No story has ever effected me enough to do artwork of it.
Until I read Words Fail. Then I had to.
Now, I would not call this true artwork, since it was not made from scratch, it's just painting, editing, and manip.
But I still put my heart into this. And I hope it shows through all that Photoshop lol.
I did this fanart in honor of Nea Marika's story because I believe her story itself is a work of art.

To be fair this is THE very first Photoshop I ever did of Tom and Harry so I guess my talent was still growing.
It's a fanart for my favorite Tom/Harry fanfic ever "Words Fail".
I spent months doing this. I am very proud of this one. It's my favorite out of all my works. A lot of love went into this one.

Why didn't you tell me? Then you should have commented on my Word Fail fanart a long time ago. Tell me, do you think I did good? Or does it not match the story at all? You already said it was weird so I'm almost afraid to ask...lol

Cause I first saw "Tom Riddle I AM LORD VOLDEMORT" and I was quite taken with it, the other title didn't register with me at the time but now seeing it very carefully I can point out the weirdness that eluded me...
- It has a lightly skewed almost rounded look that reminds me of looking at then into a crystal ball -
...but its exactly that mysteriousness -the weirdness- that reminds me of the story in spirit if not act --- so you did good

So you're saying that even though it's weird, that weirdness fits because it match story in spirit?
You know that's EXACTLY what I was going for. I mean you can take one look at my Words Fail art and know that I wasn't trying to make it normal looking. So it is meant to be weird lol And when I was working on it I wanted it to have that strange quality that you just described, that mysteriousness.
It is supposed to reflect the story. I'm so glad you see that too. That means I accomplished it.
