I couldn't submit this drawing for several days, so I asked my friend to help me.

I am sure that amongst all characters of HTF, Flippy is one with worst human versions. Who the damn was idiot who first drew him as 16-years-old subtle pretty bishounen fag? Who the damn were all those fools who accepted this manner of drawing Flippy as human? Meine lieben Freunde, Flippy is SOLDIER first and foremost. He is trained to kill, maimed and scarred inside, war-torn, war-born tool of slaughtering, so he cannot be pretty in none of ways!
You can say that he has heart of gold. It's true, but his inner kindness is hidden deeply beneath the image of relentless war machine. So there is no excuse to those who try to make his human version "cute" (chibis are exception, of course).
And one more thing. If artist decides to show both sides of Flippy, he usually draws him twice - in different modes. This is another great mistake. Attempts to divide him in two halves - "good" and "evil" - are heresy, in my opinion. It's MUCH better to have single character - discrepant, twisted, shattered fusion of positive and negative qualities, which are completely inseparable. In other words, he can be really complex character who can invoke sympathy, respect, compassion, fear and condemnation - all in the same time.
You may call me freak, but it's my opinion of how Flippy should be represented in fanart and fanfiction. I see great potential in him, and I will develop his image.
