I think I've already mentioned it, but Serena's Poke'mon are named after Neptune's moons, which in turn are named after Greek Gods (I think some of the aquatic ones).

PERSONALITY:
Serena is bold, intelligent and colourful. While Calem shied away from following in his mother's footsteps, Serena is aiming to be as successful at Poke'mon battles as her two parents, both of whom were Kalos League Champions at one point or another. Never one to cringe or buckle from a challenge, Serena is always rearing to complete a task both brilliantly and happily. Her downsides are that she is her own harshest critic, and she can also become flustered if things don't go her way. Regardless, Serena is always prepared to lead or support with a smile and a wealth of knowledge and skill.

STORY:
Serena was born and grew up in Vaniville Town as an only child to two very successful Poke'mon Trainers. Being around their Poke'mon from an early age taught Serena fundamental knowledge and ability, experiences that she passed onto her new neighbour Calem when they were both 9 years old. Inseparable growing up, Serena convinced Calem to join her on a Poke'mon journey when they finished school, so that she could follow in her parent's footsteps and become a Kalos League Champion. She is constantly mothering but supporting Calem, and just wants to see him do well and have some more confidence in himself. For Serena, the ability to doubt one's own ability does not run in her blood, she has been taught that if she isn't already, she will be an amazing Poke'mon Trainer in the future. She's relishing the chance to prove everyone right.

Her goal is one day to challenge Champion Diantha to a battle and win.

POKE'MON:
PSAMATHE
Psamathe is Serena's starter Poke'mon and has proven to be just as fiery and passionate as her trainer. Serena has wasted no time in teaching Psamathe ideal movesets to assist them early on in their journey, something that Psamathe has more than done in rising to the challenge. If anything, these two are a match-made-in-heaven in the way they possess natural and raw skill.

THALASSA
A Scatterbug that Serena and Psamathe caught in Santalune Forest. Just like her starter, Serena quickly got to work making sure that her Scatterbug was a cut above anybody else's and taught it as varied a moveset as Thalassa could learn. Moves that hinder an opponent and make it difficult for an opposing trainer, no matter what sort of a match-up. For a Scatterbug, Thalassa responds well to her new trainer, and despite looking a little spooked sometimes, can hold her own well in a battle.

DESPINA
A rogue and very territorial Absol, that initially ran into Aidan in Santalune Forest. She attacked the Sinnoh trainer, jealous of his human-trained Poke'mon, however he was luckily able to escape. Despina's go-to move in the wild was firing forward a deadly Hyper Beam, however, you can bet that Serena will get to work teaching her a much more usable set of moves. A big, burly and mean-spirited Absol will be the perfect test for the natural from Vaniville Town.
