I open my eyes and can’t believe where I am. I’m in a storage unit of some kind. My wrists and ankles are bound to the wall behind me by what appears to be wire, so movement is next to impossible. In front of me is some sort of wall as well. It’s transparent so I can see what’s going on around me. What kind of magic has brought me here??
I shouldn’t be here. I should be out doing my job. You know, it’s the whole, “defending humans from evil spirits and guiding departed souls to the afterlife” thing. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it is what I do, until now.
My vision clears and I see what seems to be a giant (OK, a pretty giant) and she’s smiling. As she moves towards me, I wonder what she has planned for me.
One last try at freeing myself turns out to be pointless. I’m stuck, for now
