heres a cool team for sonic riders, its made out of characters that only have appeared once or twice and then dissapeared forever, but not today! i have sonic riders revied them! and dont they look stunning XD all neat and trim in there new getups.
from top to bottom
Honey the cat - featured in the arcade version of 'sonic the fighters'
mighty the armadillo - appeared in 'knuckles chaotix'
ray the squirril - only in the arcade machine 'segasonic arcade'
i tryed to keep them looking reminisant to there original old forms, but tryed to update them as if sega had kept making them upto this very day ^_^
im very happy with how this turned out, i think i got the rustic style of the art pretty close XD

yeah well, Honey is awsome, as soon as i saw her design i thought she was wicked. even tho shes not used anymore... well hardly used atall in the first place, shes one of my fav sonic characters, next to Tails and Shadow. with any luck there wil be more Honey drawn by moi, as im in the process of making a comic about team relic XD

The lack of thicker outlines give it away but otherwise it looks very much like Uekawa's art. Never had heard of Honey before this. I would play as her rather than as some boring robot that I couldn't care less for (Gamma's an exception, s/he rocked).

well there isnt much on the way of official art, but there is a video of 'honey in acton' here on the original arcade sonic the fighters XD [link] wish she was still in sonic gems tho x.x

When I saw Honey I thought 'Holy hwck, Sonic team brought her back out!> wtf' simply because, the way you have re designed her outfit made me go very 'UNF UNF UNF'. Really, I'm highly gobsmacked at how damn official and awesome you made her.
Mighty, aswell, looks absolutly brill. I'm digging the eyes. Most people do them blue, but of course, the no officialty to his eye colour XD
Ray, how underused is that bugger XD But, you really did an awesome job on him ;.; <3 Purple Eyes! Contacts!*punched* But really, Impressive work. So impressive I actually saved it to my character folder, which I rarely rarely RARELY Do XD

there may be a Nack/Fang and Bark comming soon too, as i need to design them cause of a comic im toying with doing with them fetured in it along with the Relic team XD
i didnt know what colour to do mightys eyes and i had already decided to make honeys blue and they cant both be blue so mightys kinda went orangy XD and Rays, whats with the *punched*? dose he already have an eye colour and i missed it @.@ there just purple cause yellow and purple are complentary colours, seemed fair XD

Aww wow man! This is outstanding work Trakker. = ) The colouring and sketch style, it's so well translated and at the same time it is so well incorporated into that style of yours you use so skillfully (as with all the other pics. = )...)

Was she an official character in the Sonic 'game' series?? I never ever heard or seen her before! X__X;; The only recollection is Candy/Honey from SEGA's Fighters Megamix (Honey is the secret character/costume of the playable character Candy)

no, no this isnt official art, but by peoples reactions it looks like i could hoax alot of people XD
and yes honey is official, all proper and was in a game and everything, but not many people know, she was featured as a kind of extra character in the 'original' version of 'sonic the fighters' for the arcade, so shes not in gems collection unfortunatly >.<

It's cool that this is sort of a Sonic Heroes AND Sonic Riders fanart, in a way. It's like a Sonic Heroes fanart because it uses the "team" idea, and of course, it's drawn in Sonic Riders' style. Great idea, and you gave them each some nifty attire. Well done!
