Description With Dobinxette starting to become an annoyance, Misty prepares to deal with her personally...

Misty begins the battle wearing her helmet, with allows her to fly, avoiding many of Dobinxette's attacks. Additionally, it will heal her whenever she is damaged, making it impractical to try and damage her while she is wearing it. However, occasionally it must drop her to refuel for a few turns, giving Dobinxette a brief window in which she can inhale it, allowing the duo to battle it. Once they have destroyed it, Misty will be vulnerable to a full attack, and Dobinxette must finish her off. If the duo are not fast enough, the helmet will fly out of Dobinxette's body and the process must be repeated. Later in the battle, Misty gains a second attack turn. Misty has several attacks.

Her first attack is for the helmet to extend its neck and grab the top of the top screen with its teeth, before using its rocket boosters to swing Misty at Dobinxette, who must punch her back, causing her to gain some momentum and swing again. Each time she is punched back, she will gain more momentum, swinging further and faster as a result. Eventually, the helmet will retract its neck mid-swing and release Misty, causing her to try and jump on Dobinxette, who must hit her away with an uppercut punch. If a swing hits, it can trip Dobinxette, and Misty will simply bounce off her causing the attack to continue as normal, and if the jump hits it can deal her the 'Dizzy' status effect. This attack requires the helmet.

Her second attack is to create a column of three orbs of energy, before launching them one at a time at Dobinxette. The bottom orb will be launched directly at Dobinxette, who must destroy it with a punch. The middle orb will also be launched at her, but is too high to punch, and as such must be ducked under. Misty will launch the top orb up in an arc, requiring Dobinxette to destroy it with an uppercut punch. If an orb hits, it can deal the 'DEF-Down' status effect. Later in the battle, a fourth orb will be added at the bottom of the column, which must also be punched.

Her third attack is to create three pairs of portals, each with one portal around Misty and one around Dobinxette, with one on each side and one above them. Misty will then begin firing magic orbs into the portals, causing them to emerge around Dobinxette. If an orb appears in front of her, she must punch it. If an orb appears behind her, she must duck under it. If an orb appears above her, she must uppercut punch it. If an orb hits Dobinxette, it can deal her the 'POW-Down' status effect. Later in the battle, Misty can switch the portals around her in an attempt to throw Dobinxette off.

Her fourth attack is to create three pairs of portals, which all lead in a path to Dobinxette. She will then launch the helmet into the portals, causing it to emerge and try to ram into Dobinxette, either at the end of the path or mid-way through it, depending on the arrangement of the portals. If the portal emerges above her, she must hit it away with an uppercut punch. If it emerges in front of her, she must punch it away. If it emerges behind her, she must duck under it. If it hits her from either side, it can trip her, and if it hits her from above, it can deal the 'Dizzy' status effect. This attack initially requires the helmet, but later in the battle, Misty 'regains' this attack, instead using a magic orb, and opening more portals.

Her fifth attack is to create a ring of magic orbs that will spin around the middle of the screen, before occasionally lowering it for brief periods of time, requiring Dobinxette to duck under it as it does so. Eventually, the attack will begin to lose cohesion, and part of the ring will droop down into Dobinxette, allowing her to punch it and end the attack. If the attack hits her, it will instantly end, but deals heavy damage, as well as possibly tripping her. Later in the battle, Misty will drop the ring more often, and can fake dropping it in an attempt to throw Dobinxette off.

Whilst battling the duo, the helmet has its own range of attacks. Later in this phase of the battle, the helmet gains a second attack turn, and because it flies, it is immune to ground-based attacks. The helmet has several attacks.

Its first attack is to turn upside down and dig into the ground, before using its rocket boosters to spin like a drill, dealing unavoidable chip damage to Dobinxette in the process.

Its second attack is to fly above one of the duo, before suddenly cutting its engines, causing it to fall on that character, requiring them to hit it away with a hammer counter. If it hits them, it can deal the 'Dizzy' status effect, and instead of ending the attack, it will simply repeat, possibly targeting the other character instead. This attack will not end until the helmet has been hit or both of the duo are KO'd, making it especially dangerous if it keeps inflicting 'Dizzy'.

Its third attack is to launch a swarm of missiles up into the air, causing them to rain down on the duo. Many of the missiles will miss, but occasionally a missile will make a beeping noise, to show that it has locked onto one of the duo, requiring that character to hit it back at the helmet with a hammer counter, damaging the helmet in the process. Later in the battle, more missiles will be fired, and more of them will lock onto the duo.

Its fourth attack is to designate a series of spots on the ground with a targeting recticle before firing a barrage of lasers in a matching pattern. If a recticle falls in front of or to either side of one of the duo, that laser will miss harmlessly. If a recticle falls above one of the duo, that laser will pass over them, requiring them to not jump. However, if a recticle falls behind one of the duo, they must jump over that laser, as it will be aimed directly at them. If a laser hits, it can deal the 'DEF-Down' status effect. Later in the battle, more lasers will be fired, meaning the pattern is longer and harder to remember.

Its fifth attack is to open up the two halves of its head to reveal a massive laser cannon, which will begin charging up a massive unavoidable blast, requiring the duo to grab onto Shepa's legs so she can lift them out of the way. If the laser hits a character, its massive damage practically guarantees a KO. After the laser has finished, the duo must quickly let go of Shepa, as the helmet will look up at her before using its rocket boosters to ram into her. If the duo are still holding on, she will be unable to move out of the way and be hit, dropping the duo and damaging them on landing, as well as possibly tripping them in the process.

Once Misty is defeated, Masstiv will quickly move to protect her injured form, but it ultimately proves unnecessary, as Dobinxette finds herself blocked by a dark barrier as Dark Anubelle materializes in the palace. Dobinxette is briefly surprised to see Anubelle, not only outside her body, but also with arms. 'Anubelle' is quick to identify herself as Dark Anubelle... Or better known as the Dark Emerald, much to the surprise of everyone there, especially Misty. Dark Anubelle is quick to explain that she has taken an interest in Misty's plans of conquest, and will be... 'Taking the wheels' from here, before spiriting her and her minions away in a flash of dark light, leaving Dobinxette alone to explain the situation to Shepa. As she feared, this is a worst-case scenario, and they must find where Misty and her minions have gone off too. Fortunately, Dobinxette remembers that Python is still out cold on the steps outside. Perhaps she can be 'convinced' to provide some answers...

Welp, second Misty battle is done. This battle is pretty different. Although it retains its bewildering range of attacks between the two bosses. some of these attacks have been changed a bit. The attack where Misty sends the helmet through the portals has been tweaked a bit, so she gets a slight variation of it later on that she can use on her own, and the helmet's super laser attack is different in that it now goes for Shepa afterwards. Also the helmet is quite a bit less durable now, so this boss doesn't have final-boss level HP anymore. Also, attack scaling, as many of them get nastier later in the battle.
