Description With Python blocking her path, Dobinxette prepares to battle.

With a fully-functional moveset in battle, this is the first complex Dobinxette boss, as most of the battle will be spent with Dobinxette and Python. However, occasionally she will summon a pair of Dupechoppers, which Dobinxette must inhale for the duo to battle, otherwise they will heal Python slightly each turn, making defeating her impractical. Python has several attacks.

Her first attack is to grab Dobinxette with her tongue and reel her in, requiring Dobinxette to punch her just as she gets into range, otherwise she will coil around her and begin to crush her, dealing gradual damage as Dobinxette must rapidly struggle to free herself. Being crushed can deal the 'POW-Down' status effect. Alternatively, Python will miss and grab the screen behind Dobinxette. Instead of reeling in, Python will be pulled rapidly towards Dobinxette, requiring her to duck under Python as she is launched.

Her second attack is to climb up the right side of the screen before leaping at Dobinxette. If she looks at her before attacking, she will land on Dobinxette, requiring her to hit her away with an uppercut punch. If she doesn't, she will lose her grip before leaping, causing her to miss and land in front of Dobinxette, requiring her to punch her away. If she lands, she will send out a shockwave that will launch Dobinxette into the air, possibly tripping her on landing.

Her third attack is to grab the top of the bottom screen with her tail and swing at Dobinxette, requiring her to punch her away several times. Each time she is hit, Python will gain more momentum, until she eventually swings around in a full loop and towards Dobinxette from behind, requiring her to duck until Python loses her grip and goes flying. Being hit at any time by this attack can trip Dobinxette.

When inhaled, the Dupechoppers will fight as a pair. Since they both fly, they can avoid ground-based attacks, and since they are resistant to fire, the duo's only real form of damage will be their basic jump attack. The Dupechoppers attack together, rather than one at a time, and have a couple of attacks.

Their first attack is to line up in one of several patterns before flying at the duo, requiring them to hit them away with hammer counters. Depending on the pattern, the duo may have to hit them simultaneously or one after the other.

Their second attack is to line up in a pattern again, but this time fire laser blasts at the duo, requiring them to jump over the blasts to avoid them. Once again, since the projectiles are not instantaneous and have travel time, the pattern the Dupechoppers take will alter the timing of the duos' jumps.

Once Python is defeated, she will admit that Dobinxette is tougher to stomach than she looks, before promptly slithering away into the woods, allowing Dobinxette to continue the journey to her temple...

Hoorah! We're out of RPG tutorial purgatory and into the real meat of the battles. To celebrate, here's the first genuinely complex coop battle (meaning Dobinxette and the duo together), Python, and this one isn't changed that much. The only change is the swinging attack, which replaces her slithering attack in the original. I figured since it's in the duo version of this fight, she may as well use it against Dobinxette too.
