Lucy loves berries. Despite being entirely mechanical, and thus unable to gain any taste or sustenance from them, she is utterly obsessed with them, resulting in a number of mechanical failures. As a result, she undergoes daily maintenance to keep her internal components clean, and her engineers have simply given up on trying to stop the behaviour. Regardless, this behaviour can be rather problematic, especially during the night, and more than one night watcher has quit following an unexpected encounter with Lucy, mouth smothered with something that resembles blood far too closely.

As the first Automat built, Lucy is something of a proof-of-concept, proving that there is a market for renting out definitely-not-killer robots to the ultra-wealthy of Mythrealm and its surrounding regions. While she lacks the specialised modifications of later Automats, she is still a versatile product, and finds use in a variety of roles. She has attended parties, wedding receptions, business events, and even the occasional assassination mission, where her status as an autonomous robot conveniently sidesteps any legal repercussions in Mythrealm's rather flawed legal system. Of course, memory wipes are an unfortunate necessity following such occasions, lest Lucy unwittingly spill something... Unfortunate during a public event...
