Description
This is the final colored version of Abigail Prophet, the main character of my boss's comic, Don't Shoot the Messenger. I spent the entire day coloring this. Got up bright and early at 8 AM and just finished it about an hour ago (about 11 hours just to color it). It turned out pretty nice, but god damn if it didn't take a long freakin' time. =/Click here to see the lineart:

It's a DeviantArt rip-off site. It's exactly like DA, but run by kids instead of a company. The only reason I signed up was to post hentai art, which they allowed for a long time, but then they made up a new rule a few months back outlawing adult work. So practically everyone who posted there left (including myself).

It's a great picture and I love the way you color them but is it just me or does it look like she has alittle manhood in those shorts? o.o I don't have anything against that, but that's what it looks like... to me, atleast.

I think about 3 for the most part. Sometimes when I'm working on a specific part I'll make a new layer, draw for a few minutes and then drop it to the layer right under it. You really don't need more than 6 layers for a successful drawing. Some people don't even use layers and just draw straight on the Background like a real painting.
