Description
The Andalite Shredder was the original beam weapon upon which the Yeerk Dracon Beam was based. Unlike Dracon Beams, Shredders were designed to kill cleanly, with a minimum of pain.

And, of course, like all beam weapons in Sci-Fi, the two weapons are conveniently color-coded: red for evil, green for good.
