CT-1021, also known as “Grapple,” was a clone trooper who served the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. He was a part of the elite 31st Nexu Battalion, in a unit known as Burner Squad.

Grapple was a kind yet hardened soldier. He cared for others greatly, but one could only tell through his actions. He didn't act very kind on the outside to most, acting as the rough and tough soldier he was bred to be. Only around his squad-mates and Jedi General did he show his true caring nature. He earned his namesake when in training on Kamino; the result of grappling hook malfunction. Another thing to note was his freckles, which were due to a defect.
