Originally it was supposed to be a Sumerian demon entity summoned by singing an ancient text, that a choir accidentily sings and brings to their reality. There will be some more artworks done with this character eventually.

Yes, taking advantage of the female shapes and reshaping them to a more spectacular level is part of the goo transformation/possesion.
