Description
I take typography in school, and our latest assignment - entitled "Fresh!" - requires us to design a typeface (26 letters and 0-9) to use on a T-shirt. I've no idea what to put this in, so I just plonked it in here.This is Ali Hasan Al-Majid Al-Tikriti or some other guy. The King of Spades in the Iraqi's Most Wanted deck of cards.
My first attempt at something like this, so go easy on me. Also, this is my first deviation with a black border.

I'm a little confused about where the typeface is... the face is cool, it looks good but...
is this a letter? where are the other letters? i'm so lost...
it seems as though the story about the assignment was irrelivant to this piece

The typeface is actually a series of 26+10 icons, each based (somehow) on the war in Iraq. Something like your Dingbat fonts.

I was just confused that you didnt explain how the picture you did was one of the icons...
i was expecting more of an:
a-b-c-d-e-f-g.... type thing
Once you finish them you ought to just lay them out real simply like that

They're in no particular order, since they're icons. I'll probably put Sadam at A and Bush at Z, or vice-versa, though.

hehe that'd be neat too, to assign them a bit of a symbolism in which letters/numbers they fall under... sort of grading everyone

so the face is for the tshirt, or part of the type design?
Anyhow, the face looks good. ^__^ Though *scratches ear* no ear. but the ear wouldn't look good.. so that's good.

<@void> and in freehand, use the trace tool.
<@void> then just tidy up the paths.
<@void> use the values in levels: 253, 1, 255.
<@void> then it won't anti-alias and screw up your trace.

Well, I did mine with a LOT of airbrushing, but my friend showed me the light.
