The vibrant colors, combined with the wonderfully centered frame of the shot make this truly a picture that expresses not only life itself, but also the freedom and light moods of spring and summer time.
The way this flower is captured gives the feeling that it is almost a small sun all within itself which is also strengthened by the colors that range from bright green/yellow at the center to the vibrant orange/red of the petals. Add to that all those little awesome details like the specs from the pollen and the little black hair-like parts growing at the center and this makes for a capture I literally could look at for minutes on end.
