A blueprint for the animated Pubkeeper in Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyland and (formerly) Walt Disney World, both of which were based on "The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad (1949)."His name is Mr. Winky, and he juggles the beer. Based on the actual thing. I made this in shop class a year ago and still have the Mr. Winky cut out. I still haven't finished painting it, though...

this used to be the most INTENSE ride at disneyland.

I still love it. Unfortunately, I only rode the WDW version twice, and as a very young child (it closed a few years after my birth.) But I still have fairly distinct memories of it.

After 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage (ironically, right across from MTWR) and the Haunted Mansion, it's my favorite Disney ride ever.

Well, yes, it was artistically similar. Not to nerd out, but, the painting in both looked almost exactly the same until the 1980's, when DL's was overhauled with the rest of Fantasyland. The painting at DL was changed to more accurately reflect the art from the original movie, as well as adding more 3D elements to a mostly 2D ride. WDW's stayed a sorta 70s-ish stylized version of the artwork.
Also, WDW's had two tracks (each with some distinctly different but some similar scnes on each side.) They both ended the same.
