Howler Monkeys are new world monkeys from central and South America and are found on Monster Island, they range from black to light brown, while they live in South America and Monster island, They are very far from each other and any other land mass.

They are found at the tops of trees and feed on leaves fruit and nuts, their howl which trade marks the name can be herd for up to 3 miles away, They are also known to eat small creatures taking them from the ground or high in the trees such as insects, mice, birds and now any small animals native or transported to the Island.

They themselves are pray for larger predators such as dinosaurs, flying raptors and other animals.

One amazing trait about the Howler monkeys is that they have adapted to the Mutant tree that stands almost 2000 feet tall, living in the tree for all their lives getting water from leaves or fruits from the giant tree along with puddles that form in the leave gathering or lumps in the branch's that hold water, they howler monkeys climbed the large tree trunk when the tree grew there, possibly all Howler monkeys in the tree are decedent's from the ones that lived in the tree back when it was normal size.

Howler monkeys are widely dispersed across jungle and forest around the Island and even are growing in numbers despite all the new predatory creatures, the reason they do so well is their brain size, fast movements and their size, they are the largest native arboreal primate.
