In the continuity of my OC's storyline. His former love interest Grace Foresight had died. He later meets Violet and she immediately takes a shine to him Damien likes her too but he pushes her away all the time when she makes a move. Because Damien was having difficulty moving on from Grace. Plus she's also a witch from the Oracle coven just like Grace was which makes it even more complicated for Damien. Moving on from a past lover is always hard. Takes time for the heart to heal. like Mordecai from regular show getting over Margaret or Sokka from ATLA moving on from Yue for example. Violet is beautiful and amazing but she could never replace Damien's beloved Grace.
