Description
The top image is the original Japanese logo, this bottom is my recreation changing the Japanese characters into Roman(English) characters, and vice versa.I do these as design exercises to see if I can figure out how other logos were made, as well as for fun.
Media is vectors done in Adobe Illustrator, I think it was CS4.

I really love this. Blade is my second fave growing up when I found out about the heisei series.
I know you changed the kanji to the symbol of a spade to represent Blade, but the shape originally does not come out good and makes me think you took the image from top and messed around but I know what you did.
Again, sorry for babbling but good work.

Thank you. That was actually something I agonized over. I originally had done a version where it just said "Blade" in the back, but the more I looked at it, the more I realized it didn't read as well as I wanted.

It's good, but not perfect. Of all your Romanized/English logos, I think this is the weakest.
It's still very good, but other than some VERY minor nitpicks that hardly matter, I really think you should kept the "剣" in the background of the English logo. It's a stylish thing that has been done in other, official English logos that copied the Japanese version. After all, no one really calls the show or the main character "Kamen Rider Ken".

I agree with you a bit on this. This one is not my favorite of the ones I've done so far (I actually like the one I did of it years ago better, but that's an old Photoshop file).
I originally was going to have the word "Blade" in the back with "Kamen Rider" filling up the gold portion but the more I looked at it, the more I realized it didn't read very well. That's when I decided on using the "spade" symbol since my though process on this one is to have the logo be mostly "romanji".
