"Ooooh, you'd better have a good explanation for doing that..."A sarcastic Laminiathon gives a gives a hard time to a shipwrecked sailor who's been floating in the sea. Because, in all honesty, if she didn't want him clinging to her, she wouldn't have been floating so close to him.

Just noticed this now but.... Is she "fingering" herself down there under the water or is she simply hiding something (which seems unlikely since she doesn't seem to mind her top). Or is it a pure coincidence that her hand is there is such a way in such a situation ?
Also, I guess that hanging around shipwrecks is a good way to collect sails for clothing without angering anyone ? With occasional "little" bonus ?

Um....Call it coinicidence. Or a half-hearted and ineffectual attempt at artistic modesty. Like I've said, not a whole lot of thought or effort went into this one...
...On the other hand, harg around too many shipwrecks and you'll start to be seen as being responsible for them. Or at least seen as a bad omen. After all, vultures aren't dangerous, but not too many people have a high opinion of them....

But if a number of sailors spread tails about how they would have died have you not shown up ? Maybe people would start praying to see you like real world people pray to see the coastal guard rescue helicopter.

Well, rescuing survivors has a differnt ring to it than 'hanging around shipwrecks' and looting them. The former sounds virtuous, but the latter makes it sound rather malicious....

On a more serious note, sailors who sail for money very seldom, if ever, sail alone. They know there are many risks involved. Where is the rest of his crew?

Like I said, not my best work. But, I do think that I like the Drow ears on these girls.
...As for the rest of the crew, I kind of assumed he was the lone survivor of something catastrophic....

We know very little about the shipwrecked. Maybe it was a small boat not to far from the coast. Maybe the ship sunk in the middle of a strong and the current scattered the the crew in all directions (heroically and desperately swing threw it all but still reaching is limit) or maybe the ship sunk very violently and suddenly and only he made it (explosive magic component mishap busted the whole ship in a split second). Maybe it's due to warfare (left for dead on the sinking ship).
Or maybe the sailors are just behind him trying to catch up to the fastest swimmer. But that is not really the point of the picture now is it ?
