Sanction's a pretty good name, actually. I mean, the "good" superhero monikers are all too often taken, ridiculous, or both. It has a certain...understated yet punchy quality, y'know?

Hehe, yeah, my ex had a pretty interesting villain that used that name in our tabletop RPG adventures, so I suggested my dear friend Ruth use it for what she was up until then calling "Heroine Hunter"- not as an official name or anything, just kinda a thumbnail of her what her role would be. Plus "Sanction" has a lot of BDSM-appropriate definitions as well as larger "hitperson" meanings, so it works on a number of levels.
