Description
Last year, I released a series of Caeleste-exclusive semi-mystery design packs that were fairly successful (almost everything listed in my Commissions folder as "design commission" was a design pack) but there were several that never sold. Since I released the pack sets with a partial design idea for each one, I decided to create them all for myself, and I'm really happy with the outcome.
Deep Jungle was one of my biggest challenges, since it was based on a green anaconda, a basilisk lizard, ivy, and a somatic mutation (Originally a weeping willow as well, but I cut that to the design's benefit) - how do somatic mutations affect reptiles? I couldn't find anything really definitive, so I ran with the idea that if somatic mutations shut off a gene in certain areas, and green is a combination of yellow and blue... maybe the mutation shut off the blue? It's not exactly scientifically sound, but whatever - it makes for a cool fantasy snakehorse.
Not pictured here: this creature is very reptilian and as such can unhinge his jaw like a snake. It's easily hidden so as not to be outwardly frightening, but his mouth is more dragon- or canine-like than equine, allowing for a carnivorous diet.

Ooh that looks so cool! Their tail is so epic! (and doesn't sound slightly terrifying no not at all...)
