like how out of the three character Orihime is the only one to show any romantic interes at all (lol)
Ichigo doesent notice any female attention what so ever
and the closest Rukia ever got to likeing Ichigo (as far as i see being actually cannon) is admitting he's very similar to a guy she fancied 1000's of years ago

Rukia and Ichigo have a very close relationship where he does not with Orihime. During the entire season, he startes to better understand Rukia and know what her facial expressions mean and how her mind works, but with Orihime he just stayes in a constant state of friendship.
Ichigo goes to save both Girls but he only get stronger for Rukia where as he just charges to go and save Orihime without traning.
In episode 342 he takes Rukia ice skating and only skates with her and not the other, helping her and showing her that he cares. His entire life was changed because of Rukia, not Orihime.

yeah close, but it's more friendly close to me at least, they joke about and Ichigo puts up with her becasue he owes her and she puts up with him at first becasue she needs him. With Orihime, I admist Ichigo isnt that close but she's the only one so far to show any romantic interest in anyone during the series. And to me at least he charges of to save Orihime without training becasue where he had (limited) time to train for Rukia, he didnt have time to spare on training for Orihime, he had to get to her fast.
And it sounds like episode 342 is a filler and therefore not cannon since that never happened in the manga (the animator/story-liner for that episode was probably an IchiRuki fan lol)
Yeah but again, not by choice and not in a romantic way (lol)
and in the origional story Tite Kubo made (can be found inside one of the official fan books) Ichigo Fancied Orihime too (Rukia tried helping him woo her in spirit form lol)

I think that at the begining they just stayed together because Ichigo owed Rukia and Rukia needed him but as time went on they grew closer and started being around each other because they enjoy each other company and love being around each other (as seen in episode 114 Rukia returned and Ichigo is very happy and then she was the only one who could break him out of his slump and she did it over and over again while Orihime could do nothing.
Another thing, Orihime is not the right person for Ichigo, she is always doubting herself and crying and not fighting for herself but leaving it to Ichigo to do everything. Ichigo needs someone who can beat him when he gets depressive or lazy and only Rukia can do that for him! They belong together because they balance each other out. Ichigo always smiles when Rukia is around no matter if she is beating him or helping him and she is the only one who gives him the will to get stronger and want to go on! Orihime only cries and thinks she is not strong enough and Ichigo needs someone who is strong and self-confidant like Rukia!

Yeah, they enjoy the others company, but it's like the same way i enjoy my friends company. And I admit unlike Orihime rukia has years of battles behind her, she knows how to get over failed battles.

Really? I think it's the other way around, Ichino needs to feel like a hero sometimes, he need to protect people and that why orihime is important to him. I admit her low self-esteem isnt an attractive qualaty but Ichigo is important to Orihime, their relationship is a give and take one.

I dont think so, yes they enjoy each other company but in the episodes that follow 342, Ichigo acts diffrently after Rukia left and even his freinds notice it. When he was around Rukia he was happier and care free. When he is around Orihime he is still his non-smiling self who acts like he has no purpose to live.

Yes, Ichigo does need someone to protect but he protects everyone, noy just one person in particular. Rukia also needed his protection when she was taken to the Soul Society to be excuted. Ichigo and Rukia have a give take relationship as well because Rukia needs him to feel important and Ichigo needs her to carry on fighting. They balance each other out perfectly.

well think about it, a big part of his life had just changed, it's natural he'd become a little depressed but i think saying it is all because of Rukia is a bit of a stretch.

Yeah, but as the season goes on the others get stronger as Orihime doesent as much, she is his princess he is her prince so to say. Yeah Rukia needed to be saved that time as well but I dont think there relationship is as much of a give-and-take as IchiHime's...
