Motor drive mode and fast shutters speeds help tremendously in the capturing of action. And yes things do happen in split seconds so if I don't pay attention to what is going on in the game, I'll miss peak moments which in turn will mean no future work
In this field you are only as good as your last shot. There is no resting on your laurels. Gotta be on your game constantly or its game over
