I always liked this shot too.
Here is a classic example where sports photography can carry over into other genres. I recommend sports shooting to all who would like to hone their reflex timing

My timing is awful. That's why my gallery is mostly images of inanimate objects

But the timing skill is why I recommend it. Those skills will carry over to all other avenues of photography. To quickly assess, compose and take an image.

Well I think one should try it all and do the best they can in all. Then they can call themselves photographers. But this may be coming from a journalistic point of view. In that field you need to shoot everything at the drop of a hat.

I have more from other performers in the show. I should to a super spam post like so many seem to be doing these days...but I don't think that's fair to your watchers...so one every few days is good for me.
They were all quite good dancers and the lighting was fantastic. I will eventually upload them. Not sure why it flopped...but so many do...well at least the check didn't flop

Yes this was a modern dance production and this fantastic dancer did a solo that was so athletic, gracefull and awesome. I was impressed by his talent to say the least.

amazing dancers. I know this is very different, but I mean
that I can imagine what it must have been like!!
