...so lovely ...spring is my favorite season of the year
...not later than Β few hours I wrote in a journal of a dear friend,theme was "springtime"...a beautiful phrase Β of Billy CollinsΒ ,which crossed my mind....
Β -one single sentence, like a sigh of pleasure:
"If ever there were a spring day so perfect" ...there is a delightful playfulness here -a sense of being, in spring, a mini-God within the Kingdom of one's front room...

I'm fortunate enough to live in an area (New York) where we get the four seasons clearly. Well we did at one time. More and more it seems to be down to just three. Winters are the warmest they have ever been. And I'm afraid it's too late to turn that trend back to any kind of normalcy.
And or me of the four I love winter the best...just my luck

...each person has his own favorite season...a question of taste, and where ones lives , and how the season is, of course...anyway,I didn't say, I don't like the other 3 ones, I just prefer spring.
As You describe, You winters are so mild and warm, than it must be surely pleasant!

Our winters are pleasant but in the back of mind I keep saying these are not normal weather patterns. A sure sign of climate change (global warming) and that thought takes the fun right out of it for me.

...yes it is a sad thing , the global warming...but we are feeling the effects of it everywhere,also in Europe,and more and more...all we can do, is hope ,that scientists will find some solutions,and keep on faith...
